An interesting October 15-16 weekend WALL STREET JOURNAL article regarding a $1 billion windfall to the states for building bike paths courtesy the $286.5 billion federal transportation bill. I assume Minneapolis will get some of this money to work on its bike paths. The article lists some of the challenges cities have in trying to design bike paths to accommodate bicycles, roller bladers, joggers and large baby carriers. The WSJ site is a paid site. If you are an avid cyclist, it may be worth your while to track down a paper copy. Bill Dooley Kenny REMINDERS: 1. Be civil! Please read the NEW RULES at http://www.e-democracy.org/rules.
