McLaughlin supporters call on Rybak to stop pre-emptive smear campaigns
against Peter McLaughlin by his paid employee John Blackshaw..
Blackshaw's Carl Rowe type of pre-emptive attacks are unjustifiable.
Blackstad seems to believe that it is just not fair to point out his boss'
record. To avoid anyone bringing up Rybak's dismal record on public safety
he repeatedly claims it is something Peter McLaughlin should curtail. If Mr.
Blackshaw wants people to stop criticizing his boss he should just convince
Rybak to do a better job. Blackshaw attempts to have Peter McLaughlin be
responsible for people pointing out their dissatisfaction with the Rybak
administration. As a smear tactic of Blackshaw's own, to head off such
justifiable criticism of Rybak, Blackshaw posts his feeble attempt at a
psy-op letter. Unfortunately I probably give Blackstad far too much credit.
I guess he really is not too much like Rowe after all, because his strategy
is sooo blatantly transparent. Mr. Blackstad should probably stop reading
that old military psy-op manual that details such simple mis-information
tactics. There might be some new texts that might be more effective in
disseminating his mis-information and spin doctoring negative information.
Mr. Blackshaw should probably just Google to find better methods.
Blackshaw's present feeble attempt is as if someone asked if Mr. Blackshaw
and his boss has stopped taking political graft. No way to answer it. So
please Mr. Blackshaw, just stop it.
“Mayor Rybak can stop it if he wants to
If he says or does nothing about this Blackshaw tactics, then voters will
have to ask
themselves, ‘What kind of leader is he? He talks about being a strong
leader but he
can’t even get his top EMPLOYEE to stop slinging the mud’.”
Blackshaw lists his telephone numbers below. List readers please call
Blackshaw and demand that he stop his negative attack campaigns. Or simply
cast your vote against Blackshaw and Rybak.

Rybak Campaign Calls on Commissioner McLaughlin to Halt Negative Attacks
In a letter hand delivered today to Commissioner McLaughlin’s campaign
office, Mayor Rybak’s campaign manager John Blackshaw called on Mr.
McLaughlin to
publicly request his top supporter, the Police Federation, to curtail its
expected distorted attack campaign directed at Mayor Rybak.
“We’ve heard that Police Federation president John Delmonico is about to
engage in a highly negative assault against Mayor Rybak,” said Blackshaw,
“I
expect the attacks to be similar to the primary - full of distortions and
attempting to scare people. That’s politics at it worst. That’s why we’ve
asked Commissioner McLaughlin to ask his top supporters to stop the attacks
before they are launched.”
“Commissioner McLaughlin can stop it if he wants to”, Blackshaw continued.
“
If he says or does nothing about this, then voters will have to ask
themselves, ‘What kind of leader is he? He talks about being a strong
leader but he
can’t even get his top supporters to stop slinging the mud’.”
