Volunteers Sought for Tour Docent Program The Minneapolis Public Library seeks volunteers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead public tours of the new Central Library, scheduled to open in May of 2006. The tours are designed to better acquaint visitors with the extensive collections and resources of the library, as well as with its striking architecture and public art.
Volunteers will participate in a Tour Docent training program. They will be expected to lead tours approximately twice a month and participate in ongoing training.
