In response to Chris Johnsons' post about Bob Fine being the resposible
party for ending the Lake Harriet fundraising concert, I have to wonder what
possible reason he would have to do so. I attended last years concert and
it was a great event with tons of people there.
Also, Chris suggests that we ask Bob Fine the reason for ending the event
but also suggests not to expect a straight answer.
Chris, since youv'e made the allegation, you must have some information to
substantiate the charge. Lake Harriet is a regional park. At large
commissioners Annie Young, Rochelle Barry Graves, and John Irwin must have
some input on these decisions. Or, were they steamrolled by the "Terrible
Five" again?
Chris, please fill us in on the details. I loved the concert that was held
there last year and would like to hear more.
