So replace the name fcswitch with the ip address or put fcswitch in your
hosts file with the IP you want to use. The answer to you problem is right
in the error message.

I can ping this host, and reply is IP.xx.xx.xx is alive. I can also do an
snmpwalk with this ip address.:(

Make sure that the name you put in your config file is the right
name for the device; if you can't ping it by that name, MRTG can't
do anything as far as monitoring it.
