Hello List,

is there a option, to bind mrtg (i'm using Version 2.16) to a specific
IPV6-address?

In the mailing list
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg21330.html
and in the user-manual i found the following IPV4-Syntax:

somehost:!192.168.2.4                      use 192.168.2.4 as source

When i use this with IPV6 i get an error:

somehost:![ip:v6::address]         doesn't work.

cfg-file:  Target[bai-gw-i-oct]:

for Host bai-gw-i.asdf.de in this round.

$target->[0]{$mode} [2001:a50:933f::f6]' (warn): (Missing operator

-> The hostname bai-gw-i.asdf.de resolves to a IPV6 and to a IPV4 address.
-> The Target Target[bai-gw-i-oct]:
ifInOctets.1&ifOutOctets.1:[email protected] works.

Thank you for hints.

Bye, Florian
