Hi Robin,

>> Gotta say I find this one a little strange. I've never seen a
function in a rowsourcetype before, didn't know you could do it.

Is there any chance you could post a copy of the app so we can take
a look at it? >>

Bear in mind I am using ACCESS 97.
If you go into the Developer Solutions database
select Sample Forms
and from the Sample Forms select AddAllToList
click the design view button
select the Forms tab
and select the form AddAllToList and open in Design view
right click on the unbound combo box and select properties and look at Data
you will see Row Source Type is AddAllToList which is a function name.

Go back to the Developer Solutions screen (I just restarted it)
select Sample Forms
and from the Sample Forms double click on AddAllToList.
This fires up the form with associated help screens.
Select Adding "All" to a List
Go down to Step By Step point 1
and click on AddAllToList function.

I don't know how to get to this function from the AddAllToList form.

There are other ways (possibly easier) to do what I want to do, but I have
selected this option because I want to learn Access Basic. I am a programmer
from "the old days" and I am finding Access Basic incredibly exciting.
Good luck
