I am using ACCESS 97 and  am trying to add a Computer Register to an
existing Assets tracking system.
My Assets table is called Assets and amongst other fields it contains
AssetId               (auto number)
AssetDescription (text)

My Computer Register consists of 3 tables

Table: ComputerReg                     ... for general information
          CRID  (auto number)
          AssetId (linked to Assets.AssetId one to one relationship)
          other text fields

Table: ComputerRegH                   ... contains hardware details
          CRIDH  (auto number)
          CRID     (linked to ComputerReg.CRID one to many relationship)
          other text fields

Table ComputerRegS                   ... contains software details
         CRIDS  (auto number)
         CRID      (linked to ComputerReg.CRID one to many relationship)
         other text fields

In the Assets form I have a button that opens the ComputerRegister form and
I want the AssetId and AssetDescription from the Assets form to display at
the top of the ComputerRegister form.
I can get the AssetId passed from the Assets form to the ComputerRegister
form and it is saved on the ComputerReg table, but I cannot get the
description to display.
I can key in (ie add) a ComputerReg record and it is saved with the correct
AssetId, but it does not display (ie does not seem to be retrieved) when I
call up the ComputerRegister form for editing.

Can you help me please?
