want to use to filter the data that is displayed, correct? What is the name
of that form? What is the name of the two controls on the form? And
finally, what is the SQL of the query? (Open the query in Design view and
choose SQL View from the View menu.)

I'm using Like [Search Main For: ] &"*" as a criteria in the query. No code
in the second form, though I'm not certain what "applying the filter" means.
