It sounds like you have a different version of Access at home than you have at work - or perhaps the same version but a different Service Pack level. You can check your version by choosing About from the Help menu. To get the latest updates, go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx .. and click Check for Updates near the top center of the screen. This problem is caused when the database references a Visual Basic library that exists on the original machine but not on yours. It could simply be a matter of a version difference. Open any module in the VB Editor (or Press CTRL+G) and then choose References from the Tools menu. Uncheck any libraries marked MISSING. Close the dialog and choose Compile from the Debug menu. If the existing code compiles, you should save the result. Using functions in queries should now work fine.
