It is important to have the right "Reference" set and in the right 
order.  I am never quite sure of which reference file needs to be 
involved but look under Tools -> References and see if "Microsoft 
Access 9.0 Object Library" is checked as a library reference and that 
it is as high as possible in your list of references.

In any case your problem is due to not having the right reference 
selected or it not being listed high enough in the list of 
references.  Common enough issue.
