Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my first split database.
If more than one user tries to input data in records not necesarily being
used by someone else, they find they can't.
The other user has to exit the program.
Tools, Options, Advanced, has these settings.
Default open mode = shared
Default record locking = Edited record.
Open databases using record-level locking is "ticked".
I'm using Access 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3)
I don't have trouble with other similar databases that are not split but are
multi user.
The data only is on a commonly mapped server.
Each user is using a copy of the front end installed on their PC.
Any clues would be really appreciated.
