Hi Ilona,

I believe in all version it says like that. Changing the background color is
almost applicable to all controls but not in the command buttons.
Access2007 I guess resolved all this issues as it has a lot of options to
change the skin.

hth,
George

Subject: RE: [ms_access] Button Colour

Hi George,
I don't mean to be argumentative, but I have a question:

I am using Microsoft Office Access 2003 on Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600
Service Pack 2.

In Access help "Change the background color of a control or section" it
basically says:
Open form in design view
Click control to be changed
On the Form/Report Formatting toolbar click the arrow next to the Fill/Back
Color
Click color in the palette.

In my system the Fill/Back Color is disabled for a command button.
Is there a way I can enable it?
Do I need special addins? Exrtra service pack? etc.

Thank you in advance
Ilona
