I have searched my disk and there are two gdb.exe available, both on
my two Lazarus installations.
C:\Programs\lazarus1.6\mingw\i386-win32\bin\gdb.exe
C:\Programs\lazarus\mingw\i386-win32\bin\gdb.exe

Both seem like they are 32 bit programs rather than 64 bit.

My fpc 3.0 version was installed using the combined fpc-lazarus setup
file lazarus-1.6.0-fpc-3.0.0-win32.exe
