Why? It would be an information loss. MSEgui strategy is to always preserve or 
restore user settings if possible.

It can be done in AfterBeginFilterEdit by "sender.clearfilter()". There is 
also a dbnb_filterclear button in dbnavigator.

If you mean beforebeginfilteredit and afterbeginfilteredit yes. There are no 
begin/after-filter properties AFAIK. beforebeginfilteredit is called when the 
dataset still is in dsBrowse mode.
