Hi Martin,
I know that begin/end filter are not objects but action to take when an
event occurs!!
For example OnfilterRecord is fired when the user click on dbnb_filteronoff.

1 / I just wanted to know what are exactly events fired when we click for
example dbnb_filtermax the first time and the second time?

2 / I noticed that when fieldtype is ft_date the filter does not work for me
did you test it?

Best Regards
Med

Why? It would be an information loss. MSEgui strategy is to always preserve or
restore user settings if possible.

It can be done in AfterBeginFilterEdit by "sender.clearfilter()". There is
also a dbnb_filterclear button in dbnavigator.

If you mean beforebeginfilteredit and afterbeginfilteredit yes. There are no
begin/after-filter properties AFAIK. beforebeginfilteredit is called when the
dataset still is in dsBrowse mode.

An example of db-filter is here:
https://gitlab.com/mseide-msegui/mseuniverse/tree/master/attic/msedocumenting/mse/trunk/help/tutorials/db/dbfilter

MSEide+MSEgui git master 75f57e18f069924352027a246f8e0f309771ba93 has
improvements in display of filter edit state in tdbnavigator.
