Thank you, a happy New Year to you as well! I'm happy too to read you
again, after the long period of silence - here at least - when you
seemed to have disappeared completely.

And that's even better, so mseide-msegui is again the first fully
useable and useful Pascal IDE for the ARM architecture, as it was
formerly for the (intel-based) PC altogether.

I'm just afraid that this might take some more time, as just after I
had sent the announcement, I got a couple support requests from my
customers (which also caused the response delay). I'll see to provide
the files piecemeal as I get them out.
(The dialogs prooved aomewhat tough, especially the file dialog is
_very_ intricately convoluted, and trying to make your extended
version compatible and perhaps even interchangeably with the basic
version took me quite some time already... I didn't even get at the
other more complex ones, especially the font dialog, that also has
some mse-specific ideosyncrasies.)

I know it. I had downloaded a version quite some time ago, but as I
was busy with other things, I didn't get at installing and using it
yet. I'll see to get the latest version and have a thorough look at
the localization soon, ASAP...

If done correctly, localization could perhaps enlarge the user base
noticeably. On the other hand, most knowlegeable users don't care much
about it, as most of what they need to know is written in english
anyway, so they are reqired to be able to read english.

That's not a bad idea in my opinion. I'd even omit an editor, because
every one has a different one he's used to and "knows by heart".
The main reason to accept "yet another one" is the integration with
the debugger. Other than that; I built me a "make" script (just a
plain shell one) to (re)build a few projects completely without the
IDE, only using the compiler command line produced by it.

The title of the window is not rendered by the program running "in"
it. Perhaps the chinese glyphs fall outside the UCS16 (wide) character
set, at least partly, and need special extension codes inserted?
Which rendering engine is used by msegui? Maybe it has been updated
to use a new API that's not (fully) supported by msegui yet?
