Hallo Fred van Stappen, to reiterate, I got this "new" demo project to run just about satisfyingly. If you'd like to have a look, you can find it on my web site under the name "MSEclock" (zip file of same name). And yes, it IS only a clock, and even just a digital one, at that. Nonetheless, it has a couple additional features, available through a popup menu, which started my side-tracking experiences with the msegui component forrest. (BTW, the italian and spanish translations were puzzled together from different sources and are probabely horrible.) The point was, although a standard main menu was correctly processed by the formscanner unit, the popup menu was not. Required an extension. And then I had used the frame captions of a couple of input fields. And got no translations of these. Required further additions. So, the "formscanner" unit contained within this demo project is an ENHANCED version of the one you already have. It is working exactly the same as the previous one if the additions are not needed, but can process more component items and thus provide more complete translations. I did not modify the existing archives on the website using the old formscanner unit though, to avoid causing too much turmoil. If wanted, you can replace it with the the new version and see what, if anything, it makes different.
