Hi Glib, If you install gcc through apt-get it should always go into /usr prefix. Looking at one of your previous emails I see all kinds of references to /usr/local prefix. You might have a botched instance of gcc around. Do you have a /usr/local/bin/gcc as wel as a /usr/bin/gcc? If you have both try to remove /usr/local/bin/gcc. The gcc install in /usr should be find as you installed that one last.
