FWIW, on my Natty, installing gcc-msp430 through dpkg -i failed due to an unsatisfied dependency on libgmp10. As libgmp10 does not exist for Natty, I had to pull its .deb from oneiric as well, and then dpkg went fine. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/oneiric/+search?text=libgmp10 Haven't started testing, though.
