Sorry for the delay, I was out on Thursday. Yes, software inventory is enabled
for all exe’s.

David, did you enable Software Inventory for the .exe’s you are metering? This
was counterintuitive for us but fixed the issues you are having.

Did you just enable those? If so... simply wait; and see what happens on
Sunday for those reports. Unless SW Metering has changed since the last time I
looked at exactly how the data flows... there's a summarization that happens
behind the scenes, weekly; I think on Saturday overnight. And no, you can't
trigger it sooner, and no, I don't recommend trying to fake it into running
sooner.

I recommend... "please wait until next week" as your strategy.

Subject: [mssms] Software Metering issue
I noticed that when trying to run reports on some software metering rules that
the month and year fields don’t have any information and I am unable to run any
reports. Software Metering is enabled and rules are enabled. Software
metering summarization runs every day.

I’ve seen a few others post issues like this, but I haven’t seen a solution.
Any ideas on what could be causing or how to resolve?
