In 2007, if you enabled software metering, it started incrementing launch count for whatever was launched. That was kinda cool in that you could derive a pc usage fingerprint from the data. It looks like software metering no longer works that way... the rule must be enabled before it starts keeping up with the data. Am I seeing that right?
