Hi all,

I've taken over the Windows updates recently ,for a very, very
distributed client with very poor links. They have a requirement to break
updates up into packages as close to 500 MB as possible, because of their
bandwidth restrictions.

This months updates required three separate updates packages. I've
deployed the updates list now, and pointed it at the first of the three
packages. Do I now need to deploy the other two packages as well?

I seem to remember reading that it doesn't matter which package updates
are in, the SCCM deployments management mechanism will handle it all, so
long as the packages are distribute. Is this how it goes or did I somehow
wishfully fabricate this feature?

I'm at home deploying software and OS deploy using SCCM, just a bit fuzzy
on some of the details for updates.

  Thanks guys,

Stephen Owen
