Ok, let me change my question to be clear.

I understand CAS does not have clients, its clear for me. But, I am talking
about SUP. According to Technet to a SUP/WSUS supports 100k clients this
need to be remote.

When I have a CM environment with 1 CAS and 2 Primary Sites, all WSUS/SUP
for these 3 server needs to be remote? Or only in the CAS or only in the
Primary Sites?

Thank you,
