That's where I'm trying to download from now. I guess it's me and ¾ of the
rest of the world trying to get the updates all at once.

Thanks,
Ken ...

I upgraded a bunch of servers to 2012 R2 last week and tried to manually get
that update and it kept getting stuck downloading. Only after mentioning that
to a teammate who said "why aren't you just using CM?" did I get a clue to use
CM and get patched right up. Downloads just fine from my DPs, but boy
something seems to be going on trying to download it from Microsoft.

I see it, but I keep failing on the download. Gets to 36% and fails. I guess
I just have to keep trying.

When I approved it to 2 test boxes it installed fine but they show a status of
downloaded and not installed. Any ideas on that?

Yes, with the release of KB 2959977, which is automatically installed when you
approve KB 2919355 via WSUS, Intune, ConfigMgr, WU, etc.

Have all of the issues with kb2919355 and WSUS been resolved?

That is the case. I've seen that reported already.

As a side note, I have no idea what will happen when they do release it to WSUS
after you've manually imported it. I suspect it's possible that there may be a
catalog conflict or it may show up twice. I guess, the point is that manually
importing it from Windows Update using the WSUS console is unsupported so the
actual results are undetermined and you may end up having issues. Not saying
you will, just that the results are undefined at this point.

You can manually install it into your WSUS server. That's what we did.

BTW, the 10 minute default time is NOT ENOUGH TIME to install that. SCCM will
KILL the install after it reaches that time. During testing, I found that on
my x64 VM, it took over 45 minutes to install. So we altered the 10 minute
timeline for the patch to 90 minutes.

It's not available via WSUS yet; see
http://blogs.technet.com/b/wsus/archive/2014/04/08/windows-8-1-update-prevents-interaction-with-wsus-3-2-over-ssl.aspx.
  More to come on that.

You should see it via Windows Update eventually; the update is throttled so
that not all users will see it at the same time, with the throttling slowly
removed over time.

-Michael

I don't see it either in WSUS or SCCM. If I point a 2012R2 server directly to
MU I don't see it either.

I thought I read somewhere that Microsoft was going to roll it out slowly
today, so perhaps we will need to check back later?

For some reason I can't see this update in the list. Before I start checking
off things on the list I thought I would ask if anyone knows which product I
need checked to see it. I can see Windows 8 updates etc... but I might be
missing something.

Thanks in advance for the help :)
