What version are you using? As Andrew mentions, the latest version of the CCTK
lets you make a self-contained EXE with the CCTK program and the settings you
want to adjust.

Maybe I misunderstood you. I created a package with two files in it, cctk.exe
and mxxml.dll. Created a program that runs cctk.exe --acpower=on and deployed
that to some test machines. I am getting exti code 147. According to this
page<http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/systems-management/w/wiki/1953.dell-client-configuration-toolkit-cctk-error-codes.aspx>
indicates an issue with the HAPI driver. Maybe it's not too happy? (sorry
coulnd't resist). The known issues
page<http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/systems-management/w/wiki/1955.dell-client-configuration-toolkit-cctk-known-issues.aspx>
has a few bits of info but they all seem to indicate that I should actually
install the cctk msi on the clients rather than just trying to use the exe in a
package. Any more input is welcome.

You can just create the package then push it out via SCCM as per a normal
install. There is no need for any additional install for the client side for it
to work.

If I only want to use CCTK to set the behavior of the system after AC power is
lost do I have to actually install CCTK on all my machines or can I just
package cctk.exe and create a program to run cctk --acpower=on??
