Is there some reason you're not using software updates to deploy this instead?

I am trying to put together an SCCM installation of SP2 for Office 2010; the "/silent" option works fine, but I am trying to test the "/passive" switch to work as well - since the SP2 install takes some time to complete, I am concerned that a silent install while users are logged on might get corrupted. When advertising the /passive install to test systems, the advertisement executes but then immediately goes to the post-install "ConfigMgr restarts computer" without actually installing SP2. The commandline I am using is: officesp2010-kb2687455-fullfile-x86-en-us.exe /passive /norestart /log %windir%\temp David Fast Fidelity Information Services - Sedgwick CMS Account Senior Distributed Computing Analyst/Desktop Standards T: 901.415.7830 F: 901.415.7404 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ________________________________ The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
