You could deploy via WSUS.

We don't have SCCM configured for the software updates role (we currently use
WSUS for patching). We are working on a project to upgrade from SCCM 2007 to
2012, and will be incorporating software updates into CM2012, but that is not
an option for right now.

Is there some reason you're not using software updates to deploy this instead?

Subject: [mssms] Passive (visibile) install of SP2 for Office 2010?

I am trying to put together an SCCM installation of SP2 for Office 2010; the
"/silent" option works fine, but I am trying to test the "/passive" switch to
work as well - since the SP2 install takes some time to complete, I am
concerned that a silent install while users are logged on might get corrupted.
When advertising the /passive install to test systems, the advertisement
executes but then immediately goes to the post-install "ConfigMgr restarts
computer" without actually installing SP2.

The commandline I am using is:
officesp2010-kb2687455-fullfile-x86-en-us.exe /passive /norestart /log
%windir%\temp
