We are much like Marable's setup. SCCM Team: everything but patching Security team: patching
We'll say 6 FTE's are involved since there are a few systems engineers around the company that do their own packaging and deployment related to their apps. Our scale is around 20K clients. Fortune 300. We have a small group dedicated to administration of SCCM. They create deployments and maintain the infrastructure. OSD is handled by a separate group, application packaging by another, and patch management by yet another. SCCM Admins - keep the lights on OSD Admins - anything related to task sequences App Packages - package anything that needs to be deployed Patch Admins - monthly patches and SCUP That's about it. I'm curious as to how other organizations handle their SCCM staffing. Do you have dedicated SCCM administrators? Do you have separation of duties (patch management, OSD, application packaging, etc.)? ********************************************************** Electronic Mail is not secure, may not be read every day, and should not be used for urgent or sensitive issues ________________________________ NOTICE: The information contained in this message is proprietary and/or confidential and may be privileged.
