You can also download all the prereqs and fire it up with a /SOURCE: parameter…
again though in this case, we don’t even know if your CCMSETUP.exe process even
starts. Any way to confirm it even executes?

No, ccmsetup.exe is just a wrapper, it’s still needs all the other files. I
would not even try to remove any source files, who knows what may go wrong.

Just ccmsetup.exe…. should be all I need?

Does the full client install reside in c:\windows\temp? The default is
c:\windows\ccmsetup.

Is the ccmsetup.log file being created on the target machine?

I have a startup script in place but servers will have to reboot. Security is
restrictive so while the clients can talk to the site server via port 80 it
can’t talk back over the ports needed for client push. SO…..rather than wait
for these servers to reboot (it’s a DEV environment) I’m trying this from a
management box (that doesn’t have SCCM). But nothing happens…no errors. What
am I missing? Something with x64 vs x86 or something obvious? Both source and
target servers are Windows 2012 R2. I got Invoke-Command to run a
WebClient.DownloadFile to get the ccmsetup.exe but this 2nd part to kick off
install isn’t happening.

PS C:\Windows\system32> Invoke-Command -ComputerName SERVER01 -ScriptBlock
{Start-Process -FilePath "C:\Windows\Temp\ccmsetup.exe" -ArgumentList
"/mp:10.9.24.240"}
