Could your AV be getting in the way? Try disabling it temporarily.

Are installed clients having any issues?

Have you tried removing and re-adding the MP?

My MP logs are clean and look healthy, plenty of status 200 messages. The
pre-reqs are setup correctly, this was working not so long ago. I reviewed the
latest IIS log (see below) and I do see a bunch of the 405 errors for the
system in question.

xxx.xxx.180.102 POST /SMS_FSP/.sms_fsp - 80 - xx.xx.99.183 SMS+FSP - 200 0 0
149 6
xxx.xxx.180.102 PROPFIND /CCM_Client - 80 - xx.xx.99.183 ccmsetup - 405 0 1
1496 17

You're receiving an HTTP error code 405 from the MP which means "Method Not
Allowed: A request was made of a resource using a request method not supported
by that resource; for example, using GET on a form which requires data to be
presented via POST, or using PUT on a read-only resource."

Can't say I've ever seen this in ConfigMgr.

Is your MP healthy? Have you validated this by checking the site system status
in the console and the log files?

If so, review the IIS logs to maybe get some more info.

Also, double-check to make sure all of the MP pre-reqs are still in place.

Subject: [mssms] SCCM 2012 client installation issues

I am running into SCCM 2012 R2 client installation failures on my systems. The
CCMSetup.log shows these entries below. I am running a SCCM 2012 R2 on a
Windows 2012 server system and I know that WebDav is not required in SCCM 2012.
Is there an issue with the SCCM website? Permissions look good and I can
access the url from the same failing system. Any help would be appreciated.
