Maybe. I would like to see a benchmark perfomed: run Linux and Windows side-by-side, have them doing as close to the same things as possible (running screensavers, playing music, writing documents, playing powerful (graphics-wise) games, etc.), and see how many times one crashes vs. the other. And when I say perform a benchmark, I mean by an independent body that has no vested interest in either side, no dislike for either side. Any fool can make the results fit what they want to have people believe. Good luck finding someone who isn't biassed either way - certainly counts most programmers out. -- Jason Teagle [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ msvc mailing list [email protected] See http://beginthread.com/mailman/listinfo/msvc_beginthread.com for subscription changes, and list archive.
