How do I keep the ethernet interface alive under Windows 2000? If I need to swap ethernet cables or switches, Windows 2000 disables the network interface and drops all connections soon after I disconnect the cable. Is there any way to force it to keep the interface and also the connections alive until the cable gets reconnected again?
