Onderwerp: RE: Turbo R?

:In the case that 8 or 10 ppl are working on the Z380 project, I'm sure that
:the project will be finished. And, even in the case I buy the Turbo R, I
:will buy also, when it appears, the Z380 board.

My opinion too.

:I've never gone to Zandvoort ir Tilburg, but seeing the comments and
:photografs in the Hnostar magazine, I think the MSX is in a very good
:moment. And there are also the meetings in Barcelona and Madrid, also the
:MSX Festa.

I'd like to go to one of them too sometime, but now, I have lack of money to
afford it.

:>Yes, about that wait the S1990 generates on a turboR... Why didn't they
:>implent such a thing in the MoonSound? I mean, now I need three
:>Basic-drivers; one for Z80, one for Z80H and one for R800!!!
:
:What is the S1990?? :-?
:Then... you have an Turbo R with the 7MHz Z80? It is a wonderful computer!

The S1990 is the MSX-Engine in the turboR. See some other message hangin'
around in this mailinglist. Anyway, no, I don't have a turboR with a Z80H,
but I'm talking about "when I'm releasing some product". Musicdisk
offcourse... :-) hehe. Anyway, I foresee problems when a faster MSX, i.e. a
MSX with the Z380 onboard, will be released. New programs will then also
support the Z380-drivers, but old programs will think it's a turboR and use
the turboR-drivers, which access the MoonSound way too fast on a Z380.

:>:>And about MSX2000.......... well I hope that we'll make it but as far as
I
:>:>can see now the end of 1999 or halfway 2000 MSX is totally dead over
here
:>:>(sad but true).
:>:
:>:People have been saying things like that for almost 10 years now. As long
:>:as some of us still regularly boot up our MSXes, it's not dead.
:>
:>=== I *fully* agree!!! ===
:
:Me too.

Glad 'bout that!!!
