ESE-SCC construction manual is available in English, thanks to Takamichi.
Mail me if you want it.
For 512K ESE-SCC you need:
- SCC cartridge
- 512K SRAM IC
- some simple ICs
- soldering skills
Cost (excluding SCC cartridge) should be less than $50 US.

By the way, ESE-SCC gives SCC sound if you play Konami SCC ROM file in it.
I guess other MegaRam cartridges don't have this advantage.
