Turbo-R (A1GT, don't know about ST...) uses 2 AA batteries to keep S-Ram
information. If I remove those batteries all data on D: drive (SRAM) is
erased, so I think this memory is kept by the batteries. Also date/time, set
screen and other parameters are erased! In my MSX2 (Sony HBF-9S) there was a
rechargable battery to keep date/time,... info. I think SRAM is not the same
as FlashRAM. Also PC's have SRAM (supplied by a CR2032 or a Rechargale
Battery) to keep configuration (date, time, hard disk parameters...)
