] How about :
]
] The JoyNet Standard
]
How about making a small name competition? For example, until August 31
anybody can submit names to this list and then from September 1 until
September 30, anybody can vote for those names. The name with the most votes
will be choosen. And the person who proposed it will get eternal lasting fame
for it in the MSX networking community ;-)
One more thing. How about the intellectual rights and copyrights for the
hardware design, the protocols, the software drivers, etc. As this is a
public project, I propose to make it completely free. For example by using
the GNU public license used in the Linux world. In this manner, nobody can
fight about the rights. Everybody who wants to contribute to the project can
do that voluntarily. And clubs and other people who want to earn some money
by selling cables and floppies with software can do so without any legal
problems. Also, developers who want to use the communication libraries in
their games can do so without any problems.
Let's straighten this out before it is too late.
Kind regards,
Alex
