Yep, you're right.
Mayor typo/screw-up on my part...
Rectification:
- Connect an MSX joystick port to the parrallel port of your pc.
You can do 2-bit biderectional parrallel transfers this way.
(To whoever's gonna try this at home: Dont forget to solder the cable
crosswired! ;))

We thought about it. Might come in handy when you want to connect it
to an MSX-1 without a diskdrive.
But let's not get carried away here.
Making an fully functional cartridge is hard enough for me as it is.
Soldering and digital electronics are not my cup of the you know! (Well
it is theoretically but not practically, in the emulators it always
works fine, oops ther I go using that 'word' again).
So I'll try to finish the version without the ROM first. Getting
something finished has top priority. I can make add-ons later.
We're talking about 50 guilders of material here at most!
I'm not so concerned with the hardware but with the software I'm
developing it for.
I'm trying to build a free and fully ansi compatible msx c-crosscompiler
for PC (I know some of you hate that word, but the realty is I've got
one and it compiles things faster than my ASCII-C
on the MSX which is the reason that SOAP isn't finished).
I'm not worried about the hardware at all because there are loads of
people who can help me there. I'm not worried about writing software
for the link either. I'm not woried about building a
parser/preprocessor, assembler and linker either.
I'm more worried about building a high optimising Z80 codegenerator for
this c-compiler. This has me worried! So if somebody's got any bright
ideas on that, drop me a mail!
I'll be reopening my page soon (hopefully this saturday). It hadn't been
updated for almost three years (shame). Expect the latest version of the
GFX9000 userlist there and an online GFX9000 manual.
When the prototype's finished I'll put the schematics up also.
