You can make one yourself quite easily... Scheme is was in some edition of
MSX Info Blad (don't forget the correction in the most recent one).

Well if I want to play a turboR game, THEN I use an MSX tR emulator because
I can't run it on my own machine. Btw, Illusion City is not a good example
here...

IDE is very cheap. Interface only 100 Dutch bucks and a good harddisk (240
MB will do very fine (I have 80 MB which is still sufficient)) can easily be
taken from an old, deserted PC. Lots of them around. Or else you can buy
harddisks at a dumpshop for 25 bucks.

1. My monitor is large enough to see every single pixel, and
2. On a 17" monitor the pixels probably have a diameter of 2 centimeter or
so... PC monitors are terrible concerning low resolutions (way too sharp).
Okay I know BrMSX looks quite nice with its interlacing but fMSX for
instance doesn't support that, nor RuMSX.

Well, not really. If you have a good debugger which emulates an MSX on an
MSX (although sounding strange very useful and quite easy to make, though
not made yet).
But then again you've got an emulator. But I think such an emulator can be
seen rather as a 'debugging machine' than as emulator.
Hey, Jon! Can't you add VDP and memorymapper emulation to the Debugger??? Or
is that too difficult? Anyways, breakpoints suck.

Whow, is that fast (not really for an emulator which runs at full speed on a
386-33 and uses MMX enhancements etc.).

No, I think not. But anyways, a Gfx9000 is expensive indeed.
How can BrMSX generate MORE colors than the machine it emulates can
handle??? It's not possible. It may work on a 30000-colors screenmode, but
that doesn't mean it really does display them...

Space can easily be generated, just be inventive.

Well 4MB memory isn't expensive at all and I don't think you need a Gfx9000
which is poorly supported (unfortunately). And you still can emulate the few
MSX2+ and turboR games left...
