        You can run PMEXT under UZIX, with BDOSEMU.
        But with the actual limit of 32k per process, PMEXT claims "out of
memory". I executed M80/L80 without problems under UZIX. I think that with
in the future, with UZIX48k, this memory problem will be solved.

        Z280 is a nice processor. It has DMA, timer, MMU. UZI280 can run
CP/M programs with a TPA of 60k using BDOS emulation. By the awy, Stefan
Nitschke, the author, ported Hi-Tech C to UZI280 and continued UZI280
development under UZI280.
