Well, when you need SubROM calls, yes, there is a problem.

Well... In a near future I'll try to program for UZIX. It's seem promising.
As it is MultiTask (preemptive!!!), the only changes on programing are:
DO NOT change mapper pages and... Avoid disabling interrupts. If
you do, turn it on as fast as possible, or you'll disable the multitask! (-:

Sadly.

My current system is almost like yours.
-MSX2+ CIEL 7Mhz with 4Mb of Mapped RAM, FM, 3.5" 720Kb drive and HD of 1Gb.
-MegaSCSI with 512Kb of RAM
- MegaRam 256Kb + SCC
- PAC Cartridge
- Monitor RGB 14" with stereo sound
- 3D LCD Glasses
And they are comming
- MSX Audio
- MoonSound
But It still usefull. Tere is LOTS of games that doesn't run under BDOS2.

I have and disassembled MAP.COM (which is available disassembled into
my page), but this is only ONE problem. The problem IS NOT memory mapping.
There is other problems.

But DOS2 uses LOTS of more system vars, that are almost always covered
by programs made for DOS1! THIS is one BIG problem.

With Mapper.com you can disable this.

I have 4Mb in a single Mapper. I'm tring to create a unique solution.
And it's not very simple.

I'll try add this, if I can get the Padial 1Mb expansion Working... But If
I can switch to DOS1, Memory Mapper will be no problem.

AFAIK (and Zilog said it to me about 3 or 4 months ago), z380 is still
available and Zilog has no plans on stop the production.
