- put SCC instruments in MoonSound SRAM
- make MoonSound headers for SCC instruments
- use tables or formulas to convert SCC frequencies and volumes to
MoonSound equivalents
- adapt the replayer you're using by inserting MoonSound routines for note
on/off, volume change, instrument change etc
I wrote code that can play SCC Musixx songs on the MoonSound. It can also
almost play MG2 songs. If you'd like to receive the source code, mail me
privately.
The problem I'm having with MG2 is that it creates new instruments while
playing. But since MoonSound cannot access its SRAM when playing, I cannot
simply upload the new instrument.
However, I guess MG2 is the only Konami game which creates instruments
while playing. In the replayer of King's Valley II there was no such
behaviour.
