If I remember well, the intro of "Psycho World" has screensplit between screen 5 and screen 6 and the game itself is entirely in screen 5. "Space manbow" as well as "Hydefos" are entirely in screen 4! Just look into the VRAM after you've reset the game or use the pause key on a turboR if you have one. BTW, last month I also wrote a comment on this subject as you can read in the attached email. Bye, /\/\ark

Not to be picky, but I doubt whether a screen split between screen 5 and 7 will even work. At least I expect it to be rather unstable, because of the different VRAM usage by screen 5 and 7. A stable screen split is possible between screen 5 and 6 on the hand and between screen 7 and 8 on the other hand. You can easily check this by loading a picture in screen 7 at page 1 (010000h-01FFFFh). You'll find the (distorted) picture back in screen 5 on pages 1 and 3 (008000h-00FFFFh and 018000h-01FFFFh)! So assuming the VRAM is build up of two 64 kB blocks, it seems that screen 5/6 uses these blocks successively and screen 7/8 uses these blocks alternating. Bye, /\/\ark
