Let's shed some light on the situation.
It isn't possible to connect a MSX-joystick to the PC using this direct
approach. There is (or has been) a device which enables connection of a MSX
joystick on the PC. Don't mistake this with a MSX-mouse, which does NOT work
on PC like this!
