English is never beautiful, it's a speech disorder ;)

But seriously though, I don't mind single non-english messages that much IF
- the person is totally incapable of writing understandable english
- someone who does speak both languages provides a translation
- non-english discussions (replies etc.) be taken into private e-mail
- messages are only directed at people from a certain country, this should 
be clearly stated in the subject or at least the top of the message.

I think we can all agree on this, can't we? And ofcourse accidents happen, 
so don't start flaming right away.

You can also see this sometimes in the MSX newsgroup comp.sys.msx! Although 
usually they keep it english, it gets kinda out of hand once in a while 
(huge off-topic talk).
