"small" hardware problem ?

Hello All,

I'm having a little problem with my NMS 8250 computer.
It will not read any floppy disks, the computer puts "disk offline"on the 
screen eventhough te drive-light flashed once (strange hm?). So I started to 
do some investigating (removing cover to see if any connectors came lose 
etc.).
Furthermore I experimented with different floppies (to see if the problem was 
not related to one particular disk), well no luck. Tried several. Then I put a PC-
diskdrive (DD) in the other position (B:), which also didnt help. inserting disks 
into this drive (and type files "b:") als brought no reaction (drive led flashed, 
msg: disk offline).
My conclusion so far: not related to one floppy, probable not related to the 
drive.
Anyone have suggestions where to look ? (cuz I'm a bit lost ;-)
