This maybe has nothing to do with indirectness. Anyway, don't take the risk.

But even when you state exactly what you mean, it can happen. Therefore be
REALLY careful.
About asking favours again and again: I can imagine you ask this sort of
favour a couple of times. And maybe 10 other European users do the same.
Especially since they think it is a very small favour ("he is there anyway,
so... what is the big problem?")...
