It's way old. In January at the MSX fair in Oss, we could play Triplex with 8
players or so. :-) (Recapping: it's a networked Tetris clone for MSX1!)

Allright. THen I will include the answers I'd give to your questions. I'm
asking the community to suggest better ones.

> What frequently asked questions could this section have?:

Not really. Depends on the output connectors your MSX provides and on the TV
systems supported by your MSX and TV.

Hmm, this question is too general, I think.

> -Which MSX computers can be used with both PAL/NTSC systems?

None. An MSX is either PAL or NTSC.

> -Are there PAL and NTSC versions of MSX cartridges?

No. But some cartridges for MSX2 put the VDP in NTSC mode, meaning the refresh
frequency goes to 60Hz. Some old tv's can't handle this.

The best would be to have an NTSC PX7, since otherwise you need a convertor.
There have been only NTSC LD games for MSX for the PX7. So you need an NTSC
LDP, and therefore an NTSC version of the PX7 to get correct superimposition.

Saku, all suggestions are welcome.

> -Which countries where MSX was sold use PAL or NTSC system?

Europe: PAL
Japan: NTSC
Brazil: PAL at 60Hz (IIRC)

> -Can I plug my PAL MSX to a NTSC TV and inversely?

Depends. I suppose the TV is not multi-system. If you then connect an NTSC
image via a composite plug to your PAL tv, you'll get a black/white picture. I
don't know about the other way around.
If you use RGB (scart), there's no problem, IIRC!!

I think so, if you make a conversion cable.

Please correct me!

Hmm, I thought some other people offered to 'take over' the MEP...

How about putting them on FUNet with a descriptoin file?
Also, I noticed the "Video Utility" ROM file of the HB-G900P is missing. At
least, on the version at www.vd-hoeven.nl/msx-roms/

How about uploading those to FUNet too?
