I think this is more like a tradition. Even VDP docs
are written this way -- and it's obviously an error.
We in Brazil use PAL-M, and it's kind of strange
selecting "NTSC" to get correct speed and vertical
sync in an european game. =) We should all have used
50Hz/60Hz from beginning.
