Thanks, David.  Yes, I have a pretty good amount of Windows text editors: GVim, 
Notepad++, EmEditor, etc., however, I want to use the environment I just 
installed to edit my files.  I expected that environment to, at least, have the 
most basic text editor known to unix/linux (vi or ed) in its environment.
